Application Guide of Chinese Government Scholarship of Shanxi University of Chinese Medicine for Master’s Degree Program（2022）
一、学校简介
Introduction
山西中医药大学的前身为1978年创办的山西医学院中医大学班，1982年经国务院批准筹建，1989年经原国家教委批准成立山西中医学院，2000年获硕士学位授予权，2003年开始与多所高校联合培养博士研究生，2015年成为山西省人民政府与国家中医药管理局共建高校，2017年5月经教育部批准更名为山西中医药大学，同年被确定为山西省博士学位授予单位立项建设高校。学校自2002年开始招收国际学生，2008年获批港澳台学生招生资格，2017年成为来华留学中国政府奖学金生培养单位。是教育部首批卓越医生（中医）教育培养计划改革试点高校、推荐优秀应届本科毕业生免试攻读研究生高校、中医学专业“5+3”一体化招生院校、中国政府奖学金生委托培养高校、山西省深化创新创业教育改革示范高校。
Shanxi University of Chinese Medicine was originally established in 1978 as the class of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Shanxi Medical College.In 1982, The State Council approved the preparation of construction of Shanxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In 1989, the former State Education Commission approved the establishment of Shanxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In 2000, the University was authorized to confer master's degree. In 2015, Shanxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine was jointly built by The People's Government of Shanxi Province and the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In May 2017, the University was renamed as Shanxi University of Chinese Medicine with the approval of the Ministry of Education. In the same year, University was identified as a doctoral degree awarding institution. University began to enroll international students in 2002. In 2008, the university was approved to enroll students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. In 2017, the university became a training institution for Chinese Government Scholarship students studying in China. University is one of the first pilot universities in the reform of Excellent Doctor (TCM) Education and Training Program of the Ministry of Education, one of the universities recommended outstanding undergraduate graduates to study for postgraduate education without examination, one of the the universities with priority to recruit "5+3" integrated TCM students, one of the universities entrusted by Chinese Government Scholarship students, and one of the demonstration universities in Deepening Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Reform of Shanxi Province.
二、招生项目及专业
Program and Majors
（一）招生项目
1. 硕士研究生(奖学金期限2-3年)。
2. 选择以中文为教学语言的申请人（攻读硕士学位），申请时中文水平应达到《汉语水平考试》四级(HSK4)。
奖学金获得者来华所学专业可使用汉语授课，亦可安排用英语直接授课。凡汉语授课的奖学金生如汉语水平未达到入专业学习要求，来华后先进行1年的汉语补习，考试合格后进入专业学习。
3. 奖学金期限为录取时确定的学习年限，学生来华后原则上不予延长。
Program
1. Postgraduate students( The duration of scholarship is 2-3 years).
2. Scholarship student can be taught in Chinese or English. Scholarship students whose Chinese language is taught in Chinese does not meet the requirements for admission to the major, after coming to China, they will take a one-year Chinese supplementary study and enter the major after passing the examination.
3. The duration of the scholarship is determined at the time of admission. In principle, the scholarship will not be extended after the student comes to China.

三、奖学金内容和标准
Scholarship Content and Standard
1. 学费。由政府奖学金承担，学校依规统筹使用。
2. 住宿费。由政府奖学金承担，学校依规统筹使用。（校内住宿，学校提供免费双人间。校外住宿，学校补助700元/月）。
3. 生活费。3,000元/月。
生活费由学校按月发放。奖学金生当月十五日（含十五日）之前到校注册的，发给全月生活费；十五日以后注册的，发给半个月生活费；毕业生的生活费发至学校确定的毕业之日以后的半个月；奖学金生在学期间（正常假期除外）离开学校或离华时间超过15天的，此期间生活费停发。
4. 综合医疗保险。政府奖学金承担国际学生在中国境内的综合医疗保险费用。建议您在本国内也购买保险。
1. Tuition fee. It is funded by government scholarship and used by the school according to regulations.
2. Accommodation fee. It is funded by government scholarship and used by the school according to regulations.(On-campus accommodation, free double rooms are provided. 700 yuan/month for off-campus accommodation).
3. Cost-of-living allowance. 3000 RMB/month.
Cost-of-living allowance is provided by the school on a monthly basis. Scholarship students who register before the 15th day of the same month (inclusive) will be paid the living allowance for the whole month. Half a month's living allowance shall be granted to those registered after 15 days; The living allowance of graduates shall be paid half a month after the graduation date determined by the university; During the study period (except normal holidays), the living allowance of scholarship students will be suspended if they leave the university or China for more than 15 days.
4. Medical Insurance.The Government Scholarships cover the comprehensive medical insurance costs for international students in China. It is recommended that you purchase insurance in your own country.
四、申请人资格
Application Eligibility
1. 申请人须为非中国籍公民，持有效护照，年龄18周岁以上，原则上不超过35周岁，身体健康。（从中国大陆（内地）、香港、澳门和台湾地区移民国外，作为外国留学生申请者，须有在国外实际居住2年以上的记录，以入境和出境签章为准）
2. 已取得学士学位。
1. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport, above the age of 18 years old and under the age of 35 years old in principle, in good health. (Foreign student applicants who immigrant from China mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan abroad must get the foreign nationality and have a more than 2 years actual living abroad experience, valid entry and exit stamps are examined.)
2. Applicants have attained a bachelor's degree certificate.
五、申请材料
Application Materials
1. 中国政府奖学金申请表。
登录http://www.campuschina.org/按要求注册个人信息，选择学位课程下载并填写完整和正确的详细信息的申请表，并在网上提交申请表，同时打印一份纸质副本以供参考。
2. 申请人护照首页及复印件（包括所有签证页）有效期不少于6个月。
3. 经过公证的最高学历证明。如申请人为在校学生，须提交本人就读学校出具的预计毕业证明或在学证明。
4. 学习成绩单。中英文以外文本须附经公证的中文或英文的译文。
5. 来华学习或研究计划。申请人可用中文或英文书写来华学习或研究计划。
6. 两名教授或副教授的推荐信，用中文或英文书写。
7. 发表过的学术论文或学术成果（如有）。
8. 《外国人体格检查表》（见附件）。请提交复印件，原件自行保存。
9. 单寸照片。
10. 无犯罪记录证明。
所有通过系统上传的材料须清晰、真实、有效。建议申请人使用专业设备扫描需提交的有关文件，因上传材料不清晰或不可识别造成的后果由申请人承担。
1. Application form. Register your details on http://www.campuschina.org/ select the degree program Download and fill in the application form with complete and correct details and submit the application form online and also print a hard copy for reference.
2. One photocopy of valid passport front page and all visa pages if visited other countries. The passport of the applicant must be valid (with minimum validity of more than 6 months)
3. Notarized highest degree certificate. If the applicant is a current student, he/she must submit a certificate of expected graduation or study certificate issued by the school he/she is attending.
4. Applicants need to provide highest degree transcript (mark sheet) and certificate. A notarized translation in Chinese or English must be attached to any text other than Chinese or English.
5. Study or research plans in China in Chinese or English.
6. Submit recommendation letters from two professors or associate professor written in Chinese or English.
7. Published academic papers or academic achievements (if any).
8. Submit the foreigners physical form (attachment) and save the original one.
9. One inch photos.
10. Police Character Certificate for Non criminal record proof.
All materials uploaded must be clear, authentic and valid. Applicant is advised to use professional equipment to scan the relevant documents. Any consequences caused by unclear or unidentifiable uploaded materials will be borne by the applicant.
六、申请流程
Application Process

登录“中国政府奖学金来华留学管理信息系统” http://www.campuschina.org/ ，进入“网上报名学生入口”，填写申请信息，在线提交并打印《中国政府奖学金申请表》。(我校受理机构编号10809)。
2. 邮件申请
电子版申请材料发送至gjjyxy@sxtcm.edu.cn。

Log in "the Chinese government scholarship to study in management information system" http://www.campuschina.org/, enter "online registration student entrance", fill out the application information, online submission and print the "Chinese government scholarship application form"(The institution number of our university is 10809).
2.Mail application
Electronic version of application materials send to gjjyxy@sxtcm.edu.cn.
最终申请信息以“中国政府奖学金来华留学管理信息系统”录入信息为准。
The final application information shall be based on the information input into the Management Information System for Studying in China under Chinese Government Scholarship.
七、申请时间

八、录取
Admission
1. 提交审核材料和面试后，最终录取权由我校决定。
2. 录取后，学校将再次审核申请人材料原件，如发现与申请材料不符或不完整、不真实，学校有权取消申请人的入学资格。
3.《录取通知书》及相关材料将由学校于7月初寄出。
1.After careful inspection of documents ,material and interview the approval of admission will be decided by the university.
2.After admission, the school will review the applicant's material again. Any material is found incomplete, the university has the full right to cancel the applicant's eligibility for admission.
3.Admission Letter and related materials will be sent out to you by University in early July.
